“The Fight Is On!” Says Black Detroit Pastors Denouncing Threat to Voting Rights

At a Press Conference led by hosted this week by over 100 Black Pastors from Detroit and Christian leaders across the State of Michigan, Pastor Lennell Caldwell denounced what he stated is a threat to the Voting Rights of the people of Michigan, “God defined marriage and 2.5 people went to the polls to ratify what God defined.”.

On February 25, 2014, Judge Friedman of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan began presiding over a trial for the Deboer v Synder and Schuette case regarding adoption and whether the institution of marriage between one man and one woman should be redefined in the State of Michigan.
